WTX.D.C has served as a huge mental release for it’s two band members. Yes, that’s right, two band members. The two piece is currently in the process of writing and recording their own songs. They then hope to find a second guitarist and a drummer that will have the same passion and drive for the music they create. For right now though they are using their limited supply of instruments, and their not so limited creativity, to produce something unique and hopefully something that everyone can relate to. They then hope to find a second guitarist and a drummer that will have the same passion and drive for the music they create.

For right now though they are using their limited supply of instruments, and their not so limited creativity, to produce something unique and hopefully something that everyone can relate to. The West Texas Drama Club pulls it's musical persona from a raw Texas drawl vibe, infused with a lyrical grit similar to that of Bright Eyes. With scattered samplings, paying homage to industrial artists suchs as NIN, and the overdramatic, emotional energy of bands such as The Used, the WTXDC serves to represent the drama kid in all of us. The WTXDC spins a melancholy web, but don't let that fool you. These musically charged drama kids will show you how to act.

With dark female vocals, intertwining with melancholy guitar melodies, and eerie samplings to help tell the story, they will keep your ear on the edge of it's seat. Lyrics that tell a tale of loss and anger, and not knowing how to deal with it. Guitars that one minute channel old-school country, then turn around and punch you in the jaw the next. All of this wrapped up in a shiny package and laced together with the dirty shoelaces of punk rock.
