Now, a group of five, September Twilight is ready for the next endeavor. Currently, the band is in the process of touring locally for their self-released LP, Evolution. Released in April, the album embodies years of vigorous work and dedication as the members strive for their vision. Selling hundreds of records locally, the music of September Twilight proves to be in demand.
The power and essence of September Twilight captivates people on a unique and inspiring level, setting the stage not just for any band, but for one that will pass the test of time. In fact, they have already passed the test of time. The history of September Twilight began in middle school when a young duet shook up their band director with unscholarly noise. As they fostered their musical connection, Taylor and Bloom added and changed band members while releasing demos and performing at local venues. During these years the band established valuable relationships among young listeners that have lasted until now.
Many loyal fans dating from 1997 still support September Twilight and will continue to for years to come. Following the bands interim stages, the current lineup was formed in 2001. The group continued to perform and release demos that lead to the release of their self-titled EP in 2004. This was also when the group entered the Emergenza International Battle of the Bands, winning awards for best guitarists, bassist, vocalist, as well as thousand of dollars of gear.
In the end, the group finished National Runner-up out of hundreds of bands. With the exposure and momentum that followed the Emergenza competition, September Twilight stood their ground in Boston as a recognized and respected act. Now the group has matured to the point where they are ready for major exposure and they wait for the right opportunity to present itself. Over the years, not only have the members of September Twilight developed their talent, they have developed a brotherhood that is the anchor of strength behind their music and vision.
As the eyes of September Twilight see no horizon, the band looks forward to a long and prosperous future.
