Once upon a time, there was a hurricane that at times was called a band and that had plenty of Rock and even more of mental sanity (enough to give away or sell). That tropical storm formed in the Northern Lusitania shores, resides in the libido of many Philippine teenage girls and in the Legoland Police's black list. Their name began with a P, which supposedly was because of the band's taste for "Paniques Quentinhos". It continued with a strange H of hostility towards rubber ducks (and not because everyone ended up in a hospital). Read more on Last.fm

Proudly they stood as a band whose name contained an I, for they were all part of one of the most ancient indigenous tribes of Portugal ("Os Morcões"). Reaching the sad end of their name and age, they silently whispered a soft S of obvious silence, for that was all that the world would hear upon the death of these artists by explosive diarrhea. And finally, they punctuated their original name and existence with a solid and firm T for tantrum, because they once all saw a tantric movie and wondered if that also worked to endure long hours of (pregnancy) labor! PHIST were once "made up" by the majestic Charlie Quick-Hand McBrook, Tiago “Palhôncio Pilates”, General Rafa, Ruizinho (Donald's lost nephew) and Master Veteran Bruno Brunett and their legend will echo forever as a synonym of terror for the bars, discotheques, night-clubs, strip-clubs, grocery-stores, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, videoteques, "casas de pasto e repasto", garages, gardens, parks and toilet outhouses of Porto, Ovar, London, Estarreja, Maia, Braga, Covilhã, Santa Maria da Feira and Nalgas do Adelino. 2007 - 2010 www.myspace.com/phistband www.phistband.blogspot.com Read more on Last.fm.
