Pedestrian Takedown is a punk band from the Detroit area. Forming in the first week of 2004, They started off playing Kiss and Choking Victim covers. They started writing original music, and released their first album seven months after forming. The self-titled EP was 8 songs long and professionally recorded by their friend from another local band. They continued writing music for about a year, releasing a live album in february 2005. They continued writing music for about a year, releasing a live album in february 2005. Recording as they wrote songs, they finished their second full length album in august 2005, and released The Second Coming LP in october 2005. They play a unique blend of hardcore punk and ska, with influences that include Bad Brains, Circle Jerks, Hot Water Music, Choking Victim, Bane, and The Impossibles. After joining different bands, they decided that they were flogging a dead horse.
