our new album free for download InnerGravity.Part1 InnerGravity.Part2-1 Our side project ksandr and I.M.M.U.R.E The project "Ksandr" ("Ksandr project") has been created in 2003-2004 in St.-Petersburg (Russia) and consists of one person - Lavrishchev Alexander. The beginning of experiments with a sound was even earlier, but they and remained at a stage of researches in sounding of various subjects and noise effects. In the beginning of 2005 released the first high-grade dark ambient album "Navigation to Antarctica" (2 CDs) which concept consists in creation of atmosphere of the north and the big spaces. Sound vibrations of heavy engines of machines, an ocean rhythm, its infinite depth and a cold are heard. In an album the field records made for all previous years various sound recording devices are used many, noise are created with use only program synthesizers.

All tracks of both disks as though flow one in another, allowing the listener using own imagination to create images and associations. Further, in 2006 released a single track disc "Music for quiet places". The second album, consist of only one composition - the improvisation played for one night. Noise fill space and are underlined by easy drum-type and electronic rhythms. Obeys on one breath though specially does not bear any semantic loading.

This music is closer to dark ambient, noise, but as a whole is ambience. The album "23:32", written in 2006 became the following complete work. 23:32 … this time for hours when there has been begun work on this album. It also has defined its concept. Sense of the name, as well as the album, in symmetry.

Symmetry of figures, symmetry of sounds … Music is extremely abstract and at the same time sufficient is simple for perception. Different clicks, noise and lo-fi sounds are used many. The album is interesting first of all by a combination of synthetic rhythmic drawings and live atmospheric field recordings. Tracks are interconnected, one passes in another though the border of transitions is felt.

The album is constructed by a principle of the single-track divided into 12 parts. Music envelops and forces to plunge into night atmosphere. In the end of 2006 there is one more disk, "Octasunsquare". The basic theme of this album - a rain. Under rain sounds there are different events - by pass cars, someone somewhere hurries … the Listener observes of an event as though from the side, nevertheless plunging in promptly varying events.

Work is sustained in style drone ambient, field recordings, instrumental. The album is heavy enough for perception, but nevertheless, as well as former works, is very ambiguous and experimental. The maxi-single "Curved Mirrors" becomes the first album in 2007, containing 3 high-grade tracks and one bonus track which is a remix on a composition "Rain" from an album "Octasunsquare".Now music more rhythmical, in it is less than experiments with noise though in an album continue to sound different field recordings and the voices which have been written down where only it is possible - in the street, by radio, from the TV... All this stream of the information is split up by an accurate rhythm and supported by thin dark ambient structures. In the end of 2007, after a long break, released new IDM album which differs from all previous records, first of all quality of sounding and a variety of the presented material. November 24, 2007 in the Zoccolo club where was a joint concert with KARTEL band on which I have prepared a video installation and was as a VJ. Read more on Last.fm.
