Jb was in his school choir throughout all of school. He started a YouTube channel and gained interest from celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, who later posted one of JB's most viewed videos and made him an over night Internet star. Jb's first video was targeting his all "boys" HS north catholic in January of 2007. The angered jb was upset about the tolerance of hate in the school and wasn't going down without a fight.
His video was shown on several News broadcast in Philadelphia. JB continued on his videos for YouTube and Myspace making himself a Internet celebrity. In Late 2008 JB released his the single "it's johnny boy" placing him on the iTunes charts. Just a few months later he went on to release 2 more singles "on the dance floor" and " touch me".
Jb went on to record on more then 8 tracks and counting. Jb's next single was his rise to stardom as a musician On July 7th, 2009 JohnnyBoyXo released his double single "I'm just jb" and "love (together for all time)". Just a few days later jb's track "I'm just JB" appeared in fellow Youtuber Shane Dawson's video and quickly became a smash hit appearing on the iTunes top 200 singles. JohnnyBoyXo continued with his videos and took a break from music.
He later released his first EP "Trannylicious" that contained the hits "what I do" and "gotta move on". The ep soared to #20 on the Top 100 iTunes Albums, Less then a hour after it's release, selling thousands of copies it's first week. In summer of 2010 JB released his 2nd EP" run". The EP climbed the charts in less then 2 hours outselling Adam Lambert, Rihanna and Britney Spears.
Currently JB Is working on His New Album set to release Winter 2010. His latest single "Envy" Debut at #12 On the iTunes top 100 Electro songs In less then a day. His new Dubstep single ‘The Countdown’ Debut in the top 50 on iTunes in less then a hour after it’s midnight release on June 21st. Read more on Last.fm.
