First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk band comprised of two sisters, Klara and Johanna Söderberg. They are known for their folk influenced and acoustic music. Klara and Johanna were born in a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden in 1993 and 1990, respectively. Klara purportedly made her first song, "Femton mil i min Barbiebil" when she was six years of age. In 2008 they released their first EP Drunken Trees and scored a television appearance in Sweden. Soon after this they made and released a cover of a Fleet Foxes song, "Tiger Mountain Pleasant Song" which then propelled them into further recognition. A re- release of Drunken Trees was made in 2009 which included "Tiger Mountain Pleasant Song". First Aid Kit released their first full length album in 2010, titled The Big Black & The Blue. They toured in the United States where they collaborated with Jack White of The White Stripes in the making of several songs.

In 2012 they released their second album, The Lion's Roar, which was the first album not to be produced by their father. The Lion's Roar was produced by Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes. Later, in 2014 Connor Oberst of the same band released a solo album featuring First Aid Kit on many of the tracks. The Same year the duo released Stay Gold, their third feature length album. Since they have toured and been on television and talk shows.
