He played at a lot of venues in his local city Norwich including the waterfront, Owens (now called traffik) and sonic. He stopped in 2005 beacause he felt he had more to offer as a songwriter/musician than as a DJ. Gigs dryed up around 2005 so he enrolled at a local "access to music" college to learn more production and sound recording techniques. By summer 2006 "everyday bloke" had recorded his first tune "working class home" the track though yet to be released got shown lots of love on his myspace page and got featured on local Norwich paper the Evening News website on a article about his local college. He finshed his college course in summer 2007 and in the last year has been recording his debut album Everyday Life and his mixtape Need To Get Some Hype which he has written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered himself.

The Mixtape was released Jan 2009 and the Album is set for release May 11th 2009 and will be avaliable on here to buy on www.everydaybloke.com and other online stores . Everyday bloke takes influence from all kinds of music and is hard to pigeon hole, but is comparable to artists such as "The Streets", "Ian Dury" "Just Jack" and "Madness" which he openly names all as a influence, but the easiest way to describe his music is tales of a everyday British fella's life over Hip-Hop based beats.
