Derecus (Da-Mdash) Matthews, started out exploring music with some of his friends at Jess Lanier High School. Freestyling as they called it, along with be-boxing, he began to make a name for himself. 2003, the year of graduation and enlisting in the United States Air Force Reserves; completing basic training & being assigned to his first duty station, down time was available. Transitioning from hobby to career, (Dash)-decided to fulfill an album titled, "Floes of Etc." The album features tracks produced by himself along with (Hoodzone Productions) and (Bigg T Productions). Song were written inspired by life’s many challenges and things of nature. It is set to be one of the first albums to be profany free and real all-in-one. Ready for action, Da-Mdash is ready to take on this dream, hoping to break in the music industry and changing lives along with hip-hop as we know it.
