The boys come from a musical family; their sister Emille is Milkymee, a Sweden-based singer-songwriter with an album on Tsunami-addiction. The first dDamage release was in 1997; it was Reverbreak This Beat Down in a label-less 50-copy edition that was eventually re-released by the Swiss indie-electronic label Grafted in 2000. Another full-length followed in 2001, Harsh Reality Of Daily Life (featuring vocals from Milkymee) on the French label Alice in Wonder, but dDamage really broke through with their 2003 collaboration with TTC – the Trop Singe EP on Clapping Music. The release paved the way for a signing with Mike Paradinas’ Planet Mu, (home of Venetian Snares), which started with the acclaimed Radio Ape album in early 2004.
They next made their debut on Tigerbeat6, serving their signature electro-punk and cut-ups with friends (namely DJ Aï, Krazy Baldhead and Krikor) on the Ink808 12” and on the Tigerbeat6 compilation Let's Lazer Tag Sometime.
