Under their former moniker Murphy Kid & The Bad Luck Band they supported Bob Dylan, Athlete and Tunng. On re-launching as Blacklands last year they played a triumphant comeback show with Sons of Noel and Adrian, to be followed by more live shows with artists including Alessi's Ark and Birdengine. In February 2009, Blacklands released the Wytchwood EP on Neednowater Records. The four songs on the EP were written in Berlin and recorded on the North Yorkshire Moors, in an old farmhouse where Al got to live out his American Werewolf In London fantasies. Al is 32.

His favourite desert is tiramisu. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
