Zen Okies are one of the premier bands in Oklahoma, at home in almost in musical setting. They recently released their second recording, "Well Kept Secret", though its no secret that they are always good for a Rockin' good time. Zen Okies also make appearances on recordings by Bob Childers, Randy Crouch, The Bays Brothers, and the Boys from Oklahoma. They have appeared on bills with John Mayall, Little Charley and the Nightcats, Rod Piazza, Johnny Winter, Coco Montoya, and Debra Coleman. Much more than just a Blues band, their music also incorporates elements of Country, Bluegrass, and Rock & Roll. Members: Jim Suter - electric and acoustic guitar, slide guitar, mandolin, harmonica, vocals. Steve Fields - drums, percussion, vocals.

Dan Hoffstatter - bass, vocals. Tom Hoffstatter - keyboards, guitar. Special guest vocalist - Alicia Bennett. Influences: Allman Brothers, Beatles, Buck Owens, Steely Dan, Hendrix, Clapton, Freddy, B.B., and Albert King, Jeff Beck, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Frank Zappa, Johnny Winter, Robben Ford, Muddy Waters, Sandy Nelson, Ventures.
