Though using a wide variety of effects, Zanzibar Snails employ no overdubs in their performances, which utilize guitar, cymbals/percussion, oscillators and effects, radio noise manipulation, sax, viola, bassoon, voice and whatever else is lying about the recording space at the time to conjure dark pulsing aural blasts of lysergia. Zanzibar Snails are one of the few truly experimental bands operating currently in the DFW and surrounding area. "Vanadium Dream" was released on CD-R in the fall of 2008 Phantom Limb Recordings.

The Journey Into Amazing Caves! CD + DVD (abstract visual collage) was released in 2009 on Mayyrh. The magickal ViTilLiGo came out on Tape Drift in early 2010. Caveat Emperor followed on Ikuisuus in early 2011, following in the footsteps of fellow Texas droners-gone-Finnish-labellers Book of Shadows. Read more on Last.fm.
