The Animated music video for 'When I Met You' appeared on Youtube on the 27th November 2013. Bronze Favourite A&R award - Awarded for being one of Beat100's A&R team's favourite videos. The following year in April 2014, zac n' adam released their second single titled 'Shutting You Out.' The song is about believing in yourself and letting go of bad people in our lives. The song recieved very good feedback from many followers via email. The song reached #12 on Reverbnation charts and #11 on Beat100 UK Rock Charts. The lyric video was released in May 2014, but no music video was released (despite the band making preperations). In September 2014, the band released a demo version of a song titled 'She'd Say'.
The new song showed a softer but more compassionate side to the band. The song was written by Zac. It's a tale about a woman suffering from mental health problems who is disorientated. She is dreaming and hoping that one day her life could change for the better. In October 2014, as part of a promotion for their upcoming EP, the band performed live versions of the song 'She'd Say' on YouTube. They also included a new track titled 'Run 'Till The Sun'.
The EP never saw it's release and the song was placed on a re-release of Shutting You Out. this was released in November 2014. In January 2015, plans to recreate the EP, and to go gigging were dropped due to musical differences between Zac and Adam. They had decided that they couldn't work together musically. Adam also had plans to move onto theater work. The two came to an agreement that the band zac n' adam band had ran it's course and that it would remain a 'project', due to the lack of encouragement the duo had given eachother.
They thanked their fans and followers via email, Facebook/ Twitter. both accounts where later closed the following month. this was to ensure that people knew they had been appreciated for support. In February 2015, just before his 27th birthday, Zac wrote on the zac n' adam Facebook page that he will be back soon to start a solo project after taking a short HIATUS. he wanted some personal time and to also make sure he had enough influences while creating the album he planned to create in the future. By March 2015, Zac had already written 4 songs for an album (including the upcoming debut single - Clear To See).
the album remained untitled until April 2015, when Zac had written the song 'Make Your Way', which seemed like a nice title to fit with the idea behind the album. The song itself is not however related and has its own tale. The album is about a journey in life, not just for Zac - but for everyone who has encountered the issues behind each of the lyrics. By November 2015, Zac announced that he had finished writing for 'Make Your Way'. He stated that he had currently written 16 tracks for the album and that a Deluxe Version would also be released. dates for release remain TBA. The 'Make Your Way' album will have a melodic-rock feel, along with some softer sounds. Zac describes the album as personal experiences and he finds some of the lyrics theraputic. In December 2015, the Zac McNulty website was released under the domain www.zacmcnulty.com. In Janruary 2016, Zac decided that three new songs he had written would be placed on the 'Make Your Way' album and the previous three would be saved for the time being. Four other songs were also written by March 2016 for an EP titled 'Infected'.
The release date for the album is TBA, but currently stands on hold while 'Infected EP' is being prepared. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
