Z5. Aka Zion Hamisha, the name his parents gave him. Born in Israel on 1975 & grew up surrounded by Rock’n’roll, funk & soul jazz - led zeppelin, Beatles, deep purple, cream, James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, George Clinton, The Meters, Funkadelic, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, The Commodores & more. At the age of 7 y.o. he started to play on drums & later on he played the bass & guitar. When he was 15 y.o. he started to produce local rock bands, & also independent music on his own, using devices as four track recording machine, bouncing from track to track, while deejaying at night. At the age of 17 he first moved to the technician position at a recording studio, recording bands & professionalize in the mix area while experiencing electronically elements in the music he produced. At the age of 18 he goes to the army for 3 years. After freeing the army at 21, Z5 crossed sides to fully electronic production & back to deejaying, while playing drums and bass in electronic & rock bands. In the next 8 years he his developing as an artist as well as a d.j for electronic, house & techno music, & carbonizing live music to the sets.
