Right then and there I realised, that I was born to be a rapper. So when vacation time was over and I was back in Curacao I just kept writing lyrics. It had become a habit to me. I used to write whole pages of lyrics without any theme or anything. After a while I started writing weird lyrics that would get a reaction out of people, I became like an entertainer to the boys living in my hood.
At a certain point I started to just rap every place I went, in my neighbourhood and at school (of course I was always high as a motherf**ker) In the schoolyard this guy (J.I.) came up to me and told me that he was a rapper too, and he liked my style and really digged the lyrics. He wanted me to feature in his rap group. They liked my flow and lyrics on that song so much, that they asked me to join the group (Full Force). This was my chance, and I wasn’t about to let it got, so I agreed and became a member of Full Force. Full Force didn’t really work out, that was around the time me and J.I.
moved to Holland. In that period of time I was collaborating with a lot of people, DJ Dice, DJ Diamond, that’s how I started working with DJ Nash and Lindoras. We recorded a few mixtape tracks together with my cousin Pharao and two other Surinam guys I started a rap group called, Disparo. But like most rap groups that didn’t work out either. It was at this point, that a group of Antillian guys with a studio asked me to join their team called, Danger Squad.
To make the team even better I started recruiting some heavily skilled rappers. Danger squad became a group of lyrically proficient rappers with an uncanny ability to… well?… rap. Danger squad members: Yazzer-G, J.I., Pat van Froezen and Big-G(my cousin). We recorded a few tracks with Disparo, with Pimpi (Immorales), Oz and Kabalachi. But despite all the good things happening, there were a lot of internal disagreements and I finally decided that it was time for me to go my own way again.
And since I had made a cd with 23 tracks that never got released… I had enough of those guys. I was on my own again when I met this homeboy from back in the days, Johan a.k.a. Iski. He told me that he had been listening to a few tracks that I made and that he really liked my style. He also said that he looked forward in working with me, to put out an album of mine on the streets, because everybody needed to hear that shit.
So I started working on my album, Edu-cabu. After finishing my album Pimpi, NoK BloK, Lindoras and 37 asked me to join them and form IMMO. And here we are, greatness..IMMO the undefeated team bitch. Read more on Last.fm.
