The two met engineer/producer Augustus Cryns and quickly got to work on writing and recording some demos. Shortly after, however, Jinxx had to return to his duties on the road shredding faces off in BVB. Justin reached out to Cooper Campbell (Vocals) and they began writing what is now known as "XO Stereo". After many demos and re-writes, Justin and Cooper decided it was time to make this a real band. Justin reached out to longtime friend Jon Weisberg (previously of From First To Last fame) to write some of the sexiest bass lines this side of the equator and Jon obliged and was instantly welcomed into the band. Up and coming platinum record-owning producer / engineer Michael Riley invited the band to record a cover in his West Hollywood studio and it went so well that Mike ended up joining the band on drums.
