The band presented some gigs in São Paulo. During this time, they released their first album, called Renascença, with special guest Amir Cantúsio Jr. from Alpha III. From this time on the band started to be called Wejah. After this record, the band broke up.
In the middle of 1991, Miranda and Augusto re-formed the band with Jorge Sanchez and Celso Santos, composing a new experimental sound, but it didn't last. Together again, Miranda, Jorge Sanchez, and Augusto, with Marcelo Perez (keyboards) and Maurício Freitas (voice), performed some shows in 1993, but this lineup didn't last either. Augusto left the band and Alexandre Crescenzi took his place. At the beginning of 1995, Freitas left the band and Wejah decided on instrumental music. At the end of that year, Wejah showed a new sound inspired by a work called "Senda" (Narrow Road) and recorded the CD Senda. After some shows the band breaks up 1997 Jorge Sanchez went to Paris to play with Recordando o Vale das Maçãs(RVM) with Miltom Bernardes who also participated in beginning of the new cd. 1998 - Eduardo, Wladimir and Jorge decided to try once more but unfortunately, there was no cd release. 2004- Jorge Sanchez, Nelson Sanchez , Marcelo Perez and Miltom Bernardes start the new Project “Springtime” 2005 –Miltom Bernardes leaves the band, Braulio Veiga on the drums records “Insanity”, Wladimir Augusto returns to the band to record some songs. 2006 – New drummer again, Luiz Fernando records 4 songs and takes over Wejah drums and percussion. 2007 – CD Springtime Release Musicians: Jorge Sanchez- Bass Guitar and Vocals Nelson Sanchez – Guitars , Keyboards and Sequencers(Samplers) Vagner Siqueira – Keyboards Luiz Fernando Piriquito – Drums and Percussion www.wejah.com.br Read more on Last.fm.
