Vomit Gun is a progressive comedy punk band formed in 2008 in Pensacola, FL. The band members are Mike Vomit, Richard Gun, and Brendon Van Damnit. They parody punk music in general, and write funny lyrics. So far the band has released two split EP's with another local punk band, Marvin.

They also released their live album, "Live As Hell" in October of 2008. They are currently recording their full length debut album, "Morty" at Forsythe Productions. In January of 2009, the original bassist, Fox Vomit left the band to spend more time with his family. In April of 2009, tragedy struck Vomit Gun. Some person(s) broke into their recording studio and stole all of their recording equipment, their guitar cabs and amps, and other valuable equipment.

Vomit Gun is currently attempting to recover from this drastic loss by canceling the majority of their upcoming shows and trying to raise money to buy new equipment or find whomever robbed them and obtain vigilante justice. In May of 2009, Beav As Hell left the band due to miscommunications and musical differences. There are no hard feelings. And, finally, in on June 20, 2009, there was a large band miscommunication over a show that they were playing with The Casualties and Leftöver Crack, and Vomit Gun broke up after the show. Then, in August of 2010, flyers started popping up for a Morty & The Dead Guys Halloween show at The Handlebar. This was actually Vomit Gun in disguise, and the band played one final reunion show with Never Too Soon. Read more on Last.fm.
