She performed in prestigious concerts, television shows, school productions, radio shows, and seminars and in parishes. Aside from being a pop singer, Vell made her public performance as a classical soprano singer too in which Vell was specialized in operatic aria, art songs, traditional hymns and chanson since at the age of 16 before enrolling to college to improve and enhance more of her classical voice.

At her very core, Vell knows what it means to be a true performer and she has a heart full of compassion. Baria is most often recognized by her expressive powerful voice, charisma and live semi-theatrical performances. In the early 2002, Vell, made a debut television appearance at the GMA’s longest running show “Unang Hirit” where Vell sings Carol Banawa’s “Bakit Di Totohanin” for the segment “Boses Ng Masa” where Vell gained exposure as a 7 year old girl, she made another TV appearances in 2009 where Vell performed in the opening number for “Mornings at ANC” to promote the concert Echoes of Dreams where Vell was also one of the performers for the said show and in 2010, Vell appeared in the 700 club Asia series. Miss Baria is not just an ordinary performer; she performed for concerts in relation to her condition such as Echoes of Dreams with Lea Salonga, Echoes of Hope, Batang May K, National Disability Prevention Week (2010), Angels Walk for Autism (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014) where Vell was discovered by Miss Noemi Viado. Under the tutelage and management of Miss Viado, Vell is a former member of ASP Divas where she sang the most challenging alto and soprano parts in which is rare in female singers and left the group in the last quarter of 2011. In December of 2012, Vell took part of the Together to Get There Series where she sings “Sancta Maria” by Mascagni and “O Holy Night” by Mariah Carey in a classical style of singing.

In 2013 of January, Vell made a comeback performance for Autism Society of the Philippines with her soaring classical voice to the song “Light of a Million Mornings” in which Vell received many positive critics for her improvement of her voice and for her stage impact and made her duet with the ASP Divas in the 2013 edition of the Angel’s Walk for Autism and again on the 2014 Angel’s Walk for Autism with the students of GS Option House with their ensemble performance. In 2013, Vell made her television appearance as a solo artist and captivated her audiences and was an overnight success from the debut of her performance at Walang Tulugan With Master Showman showcasing her soprano voice to the song “Think Of Me” from the musical “The Phantom of the Opera.” In April 2014, Vell made her performance in which she sang two songs in a row “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” (from “The Phantom Of The Opera”) and “Let It Go” (from the movie “Frozen”). Competitive Singing Career Vell is also known for competing in various vocal and talent competitions as a form of improvisation for her singing skills by participating in numerous local singing competitions before ultimately at the age of 14, she competed as an online contestant for the US-Based online singing search TotalPopstar but received only 73 votes. Vell competed also in the 2009 San Antonio Singing competition where she auditioned with a song made famous by Celine Dion but failed to go through. Vell is a former contestant on Marian's Got Talent where she ended as a runner-up to CJ Briones.

Before auditioning for The Voice Season 1, she once auditioned for World Championship Of Performing Arts, but she failed to go through the audition process due to her final exams. Vell auditioned for The Voice Season 1 but failed. She re-audition again for The Voice Season 2 in 2014 but failed another audition. In spite of the rejections from both attempts for The Voice series, In 2014, Vell has double winnings in Kundiman-related contests particularly in "Paligsining ng mga Batang May K" - Folk Song Category where she won the First Prize and in the prestigious "Kundiman sa Makati" where she also got the Grand Champion where she bested 13 of the contestants from the said contest.

There, she was the first and only PWA (Persons With Autism) ever to win the contest. Artistry She is also a specialist in pop, musical, art songs, operatic works. Vell possesses a lyric coloratura soprano vocal range. Vell has been compared to crossover soprano Sarah Brightman, to opera star Natalie Dessay and to Classical singer then Pop singer Charlotte Church. She is also compared to gospel singer Sandy Patty for her vocal flexibility in both classical and pop.

As both pop and classical music singer, Vell has exceptional skill to sing in any languages and was used to sing primarily in English and Filipino as a young performer. She also sings in foreign languages including Italian, French, German, Spanish, (in which she learned it in college) Russian, Ukrainian, Latin, Croatian, Ukrainian, Malaysian, Indonesian, Macedonian, Serbian, Korean and Kazakh. She can also sing in Hebrew, Japanese, Slovenian and Cantonese. Influences Vell’s love for music started at the age of 3. She idolizes Lea Salonga, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Sarah Geronimo, Nina, Sharon Cuneta,Yeng Constantino and Charice Pempengco. Whereas her international idols would be Dima Bilan , Siti Nurhaliza , Priscilla Chan and Edison Chen . She has also cited Gloria Estefan, Mariah Carey, Yamashita Tomohisa, Larusso, Luciano Pavarotti and Jacky Cheung her inspirations in both singing and performing Personal Life Vell Baria was born in Pasay City. As a child, Vell never knew that she has stepped in to music life since she is more on musical theatre. To make her realized even more, Vell learned to play the piano at the age of 6 for a month.

Vell studied pop singing at the Center for Pop Music Philippines under Coach Rya, Coach Nathan and Coach Agnes. In 2009, She studied for two years with Jenzen Turica as a member of ASP Divas. Vell is currently being trained by Rica Nepomuceno at the St. Scholastica's College of Music. Vell is currently a college student majoring in voice principle at Saint Scholastica's College.

Vell is currently one of the soprano vocalists for Apostleship of Prayer Choir and Rhema-Parousia Philharmonic Orchestra Inc. During her off duty as a performer on stage, Vell recorded songs from pop to classical in different languages and it can be seen on her youtube account. Vell’s other performing interests includes acting, songwriting, producing, and conducting. Trivia Yuzuru Hanyu, Michael Christian Martinez and Maria Sharapova are her favorite athletes. Vell learns Cantonese by watching a Cantonese movie and listens to Cantopop music especially from her idol Edison Chen. Is left-handed. Considers herself multitasking and independent.
