Unoma

The Beginning of the End UNOMA, time has gone by and things have changed. Many factors have been behind me deciding to make a stylistic change: my father’s death, researching new sounds, discovering new influences. In this disk I aim to leave ambient and progressive epic sounds for a darker and more sentimental phase. To be concise and direct. I’ve always defended the Unoma project above any of its works and styles, In The Beginning of the End Unoma has a new sound and new musicians. Read more on Last.fm
To finish the disk, I’ve had participation from many musicians and friends who’ve got involved in the project. Àngel Lloberas on drums, Ricard Vives on bass, and the voice of Aurora Ferrer.

Ignasi Bosch has contributed a guitar single, Pito Costa some loops and Ebú sings a theme. Also Cheyenne Sun Hill collaborated with Aurora on a theme. I’ve been agreeably surprised working with Chey, and maybe in the future we'll do a project together. The disk was co-produced at Weed, Califonia by Sylvia Massy and Kale Holmes of RadioStar Studios. They’ve given their personal touch, mixing the album and adding new guitar and voices.

In charge of the mastering was John Cuniberti of Master Plant Studios, a famous studio at Sausalito near San Francisco. But all this wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable help of Juanjo Verdú, head of guitar production at Musiclan, who’s been with the project from the beginning, contributing ideas and temperament. David Casamitjana, drum recordings technician and excellent person; Jordi Soler and Jose Luis Molero, experts in guitar and bass recordings and Emilio Alquezar and Pito Costa, voice technician and producer. It would be unfair not to name everyone who’s taken an interest or taken part in the project in any way. Jordi Borràs, Marta Aguilera, Pepe, Vasco Trillo, Mariona, Jordi Planas, Roger Sardà, Espaivirtual and the whole Satan crew. Fidel Vázquez May 2006 Read more on Last.fm.
