There are two bands called Unit 4. The 1st and recent 'Unit 4' is 4m1 and 4m2 from Düsseldorf Germany. Ultra low ragga basslines, hawaian flavoured mellodies and french reversed synthesized akkordeon is what musiclovers all over the globe discover as Unit 4. All started in summer 2003 when meeting the Düsseldorf based producers "U4ria" (The Mogs) and the people of Amontillado Music who immediately realized the unique spotted Unit 4-world sound patterns, to transport onto the 12 inch global stage. After an Amontillado Muisc limited test pressing of 200 units, including a hand manufactured artwork screenprint done by Emil Schult (Kraftwerk), Bodydub was licensed to Clone Reccords from Rotterdam for the final release. The 2nd 'Unit 4' was a Belgian punkrock band out of four girls in the early 80's. Read more on Last.fm.
