The Jeunes were an indie/dark wave/brit rock band from Seattle that was active from 2002-2005. Although their self released EP was well received in 2003, the band never developed more than a small local following and disbanded in 2005 with much of their catalog either unrecorded, unfinished or unreleased. Singer/songwriter/guitarist James Hall later formed powerpop group Shake Some Action! along with fellow Jeunes guitarist David Bos. Bassist Jaime Clapper currently plays with shoegazers Black Nite Crash and drummer Curtis Hall plays with Grand Archives. A full length album was released in January 2009 on Satellite 451 Records: a compilation of demos and unreleased songs from 2002-2005 with overdubs added in 2008, all twelve songs were newly remixed and remastered.
