Two successful ambient albums for Rising High raised his profile, and he began playing internationally. With his columns in Mixmag and NME he introduced the world to artists like Orbital, Aphex Twin, Global Communications, Black Dog and Squarepusher (all of whom he gave their first press coverage). In 1994 he started working with The Big Chill and has become a regular fixture at what is the world's largest chillout event.

He now runs two monthly clubs for them - NUBIENT and LOFT IN SPACE. By 1998 he signed to Ninja Tune records, and released another album. In 1999 he played at Cafe Del Mar and won the Chillout DJ of the Year award at Pacha - then he did it again in 2001. 2004 saw the mix compilation GOD BLESS THE CHILLED, and in 2007 NUBIENT NUGGETS vol 1 is set to drop. www.myspace.com/theirresistibleforce Read more on Last.fm.
