The Insults

1.70's punk from Watsonville, California. 2. "The band formed in late 2008 and are already creating a seismic storm amongst scenesters in Shrewsbury, the raw energy and social relevance of the lyrics catch you by the scruff of the neck and carry you into a new world of Indie Art-Punk cool, never seen on the streets of the Shire before, a refreshing move on a national scene already full of skinny Jeaned wannabe's with dreary clouds of irrelevance following their every move. This band have it all, punchy cool as fuck drums, vocals that snatch and bite and bounce around until they lock into every crevice of your consciousness, rolling tuneful melodies resonate from the guitars poking their heads through rasping epic encores of pure adrenaline guitar heaven.

punchy baselines kicking you in the chest till you submit to the shear indulgence of bloody good music! The Insults are far from insulting, in fact, if they can make an album full of tracks like the incredible 'More of The Same' 'Renegade Brigade" and 'Friday Nights Enigma' they could just be the most successful band this town has ever seen, that's if they want it enough? the hard work begins now!" Shrewsbury band 'THE INSULTS' have Pre-released their debut single "Art Of Deception' on Indie label Terminal Records. Set for official release on January 10th, all sales between now and January 17th will count towards the UK charts as first week sales. Terminal Records sent the boys down to Monnow Valley Studios in Monmouth, South Wales in September to record the single with top UK producer Tom Manning. Tom recently Assisted Mike Crossey on the Enemy's latest album and has worked on releases from Razorlight, Arctic Monkeys, Bullet For My Valentine and many, many, many, more top recording artists. Help us get Shrewsbury on the map by buying the single or the remixes, its a wicked track, short and sweet! and the remixes by local dance producers "ATMOSPHERIXZ' and 'RIBSIDE' are wicked too!
