The Hoodoo Hounds are a Chicago-style electric blues band from Clemson, South Carolina. Four of the five Hounds are professors at Clemson University. The Hounds play a range of cover tunes by Muddy Water, Sonny Boy Williamson, John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, B. B. King, and other classic blues artists as well as the occasional blues-rock piece by groups like The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Z. Z. Top, etc. Read more on Last.fm

King, and other classic blues artists as well as the occasional blues-rock piece by groups like The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Z. Z. Top, etc. The Hounds recorded a 3 track demo of original songs entitled "Release The Hounds" during the summer of 2007 and were finished 4 additional originals during the summer of 2009.

Seven new songs are in the works for recording this year. An early live cut of these tracks is available on Last.fm The Hoodoo Hounds' frontman is Hoodoo Harry Teaux. Born in Georgia, Harry was raised in Louisiana and attributes his interest in delta blues and hoodoo to his years there. He learned to play guitar about age 7 and was heavily influenced by B.

B. King, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Jimi Hendrix. David Jacobs plays harp and keyboards for the Hounds. David was born and raised in Chicago and has been a blues fan all of his life.

Matt Huddleston is on vocals and guitar and writes some of the Hounds original tunes. Matt hails from Kentucky and much of his music takes on a mountain flair. Andrew Duchovski is a Canadian transplant and plays drums for the band. Finally Radar Martin is a native of the Clemson area and has a long history of jamming and touring with many musicians playing a variety of styles.
