The Grimmkeepers

The Grimkeepers is the unholy collaboration of the ancient aboriginal Grimmace (guitars, lyrics, general grimness) of the grim and desolate lands of Australia and the Aztec warrior Antibaar (vox, lyrics, flesh eating). The result was the devastation of all that dared to stop The Grimmkeepers's inevitable domination and destruction of all organic beings. When the Grimmkeepers' song "Unholy Christmas" leaked, rapper and beatboxer extraordinare K-Time (vocals, trumpet, didgeridoo) made his own remix of the tune. How he came to find the band was explained in his interview to Mikael Akerfeldt back in 2003: "i was selling rap records to my nepalese customers up on the grimmest peak of the grimmest mountain on the grimmest day oft he year, lightning raced across the sky illuminating a dark cave in which i saw something unholy, then a scream tore across the peaks, something from the very bowels of hell, drawing me to what i could not resist, wherein i found the grimcave where the grimmkeepers had produced the worlds most unholy music and hence it became a bond." He is now a full time member of the band. The Grimmkeepers have recorded an EP of brilliantly dark and grim tunes, just in time for Christmas: Have Yourself a Grimmy Little Christmas. A truly frightening and compelling release by a trio of evil figures from all corners of the earth.
