Marauder married in June 2012 and may get back around to The First Task Is Dragons one of these days. Although Marauder plays the piano and Mr. Marauder plays the trumpet, most of the band's music is created electronically using free loops, karaoke tracks, and JamStudio. Once referred to as "the Serge Gainsbourg of wizard rock" by Oliver Wood and the Diagon Alley Band, The First Task Is Dragons has explored a range of musical styles, from techno ("Mull Things Over", "Freaky Little Nonsense", "The Pottercrumb Tinies") to rock ("Oliver Would", "The Real Story of Aberforth's Goat") to jazz ("La Fille-Veela Bisexuelle") to Celtic ("The Summer of Albus and Gellert") to orchestral ("Old Married Madness", "My Father Will Hear About This", "Half", "Captain of Gryffindor", the Bewitched Garden album) to a cappella ("Who", "A Ship Called AS/S") to musical theater ("If I Were A Snitch, Man") to sitar ("Unheard Belles") to trance ("Finding the Prophecy") to low-key guitar songs ("Corridor Anxieties", "Last Remaining", "Luna's Song For Marietta" "(I Don't Want To Be) Loved Like Lily") to more or less unclassifiable ("Rabbi Crabbe and Goyle the Mohel"). The band has four released albums: Slash Bash, Karkaroff's Body In A Shack Up North, Bewitched Garden, and Skeeterphilia!. Read more on Last.fm.
