Their second single "You Don’t Live Here Anymore" was released on Fried Egg in 1980. The band secured a major publishing deal but internal frictions about musical direction caused the band to split.

Both singles were picked up by Japanese indie label 1977 Records and re-released in 2001. A CD album containing the singles, demos and live recordings from a Bristol gig was released on 1977 Records in 2004. 2) The Fans formed in Jerusalem in 2004, a few months after the four original band members finished highschool. It didn't take long for the band to blend in the local music scene, performing in clubs and drawing attention. In 2005, in the midst of an intense gig schedule, The Fans recorded their debut single 'Warning Sign' independently, and transcended their activity to Tel Aviv. Despite the wide variety of indie rock bands, The Fans quickly stood out as they performed their energetic music everywhere they could, gaining a cult following and the local medias interest: "…a band that combines significant individuals" "…The Fans give their own interpretation to the new milleniums alternative guitar rock." (Dudu Hamenahem 106 FM) The Fans music is inspired by the diverse world of rock, from Garage , Punk and Brit-pop, but with their unique touch that makes them so hard to label. In the summer of 2007 the band recorded their first E.P.

and these days are working on the second one. The Fans will follow up the recorded EPs with extensive touring in Europe this summer. 3) The Fans (late 70s) Progressive/New-Wave/Rock from Georgia USA, made a 3-track EP in their 1977 debut. "Ekstasis" is the killer here track which ends with a nice aggressive touch.
