There are at least two (2) bands called the Destroyed: 1)The Destroyed were a Boston punk band active primarily between 1977-1979. They re-formed in 2003 and released the album Outta Control, following it up with Russian Roulette in 2006. Band members included: Tony Pavadore - Guitar Joe D. In that time, the band cut the Natasha-Cornett demo and the Hemophiliac album and built up a small cult following around their heavy and hateful sound and raucous live performances.

Following the demise of the Destroyed, J Gray started the Little Rock based STDs, which carry on a similar style and incorporate a number of old Destroyed songs in their set.
