From the depths of Miami’s underground punk scene, comes forth The Coffin Caddies, a Horror-Pop punk band with a hunger for unique, energy driven Music. The Coffin Caddies begin in the summer of 2000 when guitar player, Alexx Nameless (N.P.A.A, RUIN, The Creeperz), and song writer/singer Rei Horror (Shattered Sunrise) decided to work together on a project based on their vision of melodic punk music with a tone of horror influenced lyrics. Both had a strong passion for bands like of The Misfits, Mad sin, AFI, Tiger Army and Nekromantixs. In 2001, during a 4-month period, the band wrote what was later to be known as their first E.P.

“Mothers Day‿. The CD contained 4 tracks of chaotic riffs with a layer of intense melodies and haunting vocals. After the E.P, the band hung up their horror hats to pursue their current full-time bands. 4 years later, The Coffin Caddies were resurrected with the help of the undead brothers, AustinRight and Zanderstien (Rip off, The Blabbermouths) on Drums and Bass. The Coffin Caddies love to incorporate different styles of music and don’t cater to just a Horror punk sound.

They incorporate everything from Pop punk (Screeching Weasel, The Vindictives, Ramones) and Power Metal (Iron Maiden, Strativarious), to bring a sound like never heard before. They’re stage shows have been described as “Loud‿ and “Out of this world‿ by several popular Magazines and News Papers. One writer stated this about the coffin caddies: “The Coffin Caddies remind me of the power and energy that the original misfits had with a mix of unique and interesting twists that only the Coffin Caddies can do‿ – Frank Cliento (Scratch Magazine) Combined, the members of Coffin Caddies have opened up for such national acts as Gotham Road, Poison the Well, The Unseen, Defiance, The Virus, Body Count, The Vibrators, UK Subs, The Queers, Michale Graves and The Independents. 2007 marks the year of horror punk as The Coffin Caddies are hitting the road again and even flying over seas this summer to promote their upcoming full length CD titled “I dream of Jack O Lanterns‿ which is currently been scheduled to be produced by Producer Paul Trust (Diecast, Endo, Non Point) in February.
