There are at least two bands known as The Blueberries: 1) A South America group formed in the middle of 2007 in Montevideo (Uruguay). Its first members were Ernesto, Nicolas, Gonzalo and Ana; they started playing their favourite anglo bands (The Libertines, The Beatles, The Hives, Oasis and Blur). Afterwards, the drums player (Nicolas) decided to leave the band; being replaced by Viviana. This change brought them a refurbishment breeze. At the beginning of 2008 they started to record their first EP, called Tangerine Zone, composed of their three first songs. This EP was be released in July of 2008. 2) A four-member band from Brest (Brittany) is beginning to make a name for itself.

A 70's sound and a singer who looks a lot like Mick Jagger : a formula which has proved its success on stage. What else is there to say ? Since their beginning in 2007 and two hundred and fifty gigs later, they're enjoying playing live more and more. That's why they've decided it was time for them to capture that energy on a record. They'll deliver this simple but clever mixture on their first studio album "Over and Over" (available in March 2010) : the true spirit of rock'n'roll.
