The Blacklist are a hard and fast beer metal band from Melbourne, Australia playing music in a similar vein to Motorhead, the Hookers, Venom and Zeke. The band features former members of the Sex Bombs, the Spoilers, the Demolitions and Warped. They formed in late 2001 and went into the studio in January 2002 to record their debut EP 'Attacks' without having played a single show together. The band recorded their debut album, 'Electric & Evil' in September 2003 however it wasn’t until September 2004 that it was released on Spooky Records. Read more on Last.fm

Shortly after 'Electric & Evil' was released the Blacklist added a third guitarist to their line-up. The band toured Europe extensively in April/May 2005. 'Total Blacklist', the band's second full length LP was released on Drugbust Records in May 2008. Available on limited run vinyl and CD.
