The band has played with Queens of the Stone Age, MxPx, The Distillers, and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. Their album was recorded and produced by Victory Records. The cover artwork on Lead Us To Reason was done by Matt Mahurin. As of the fall of 2005, The Black Maria is on tour with Chevelle and Taproot (band).
