"Going Down to Koh Samui" and "Big Spoke Wheel" are both Live Recordings from this era. Because of the transient nature of musicians on Koh Samui, the Band went on to have a "Live" line up for Thailand, and a Studio line up for other ventures, such as what you can hear on this album. This album, "Farang Paradise" was co produced by Jim Nicholson, Barrie and Steve in Jims Studio on Samui, with fellow musicians Taka Maraoka (Sax.), John Fernandez (Congas),Pete Fleishhacker (Bass), and Jaap de Jonckheere, Urban Heroes' guitarist from Den Haag, and features some of the Bands favourite songs from the last few years. Farang is the Thai word for white guys like us, hence the name of the album Farang Paradise. Read more on Last.fm.
