They have been playing around the Eastern U.S. for over twenty years.

Their electrifying performances have earned them fans form New England to Florida. Terry's love for the Blues is abundantly apparent, and at the forefront of his music. Styles and influences range from raw, blistering Texas Blues, to low down traditional Chicago Blues, to scorching high-octane Blues Rock; the end result being a ferocious, rockin' Blues blend, steeped in tradition. Terry's first band formed in 1965.

The Barracudas were hailed as Columbus Ohio’s youngest professional Rock and Roll band. Their recordings are still prized by Garage Rock collectors world- wide. While attending art school, he started the rock & roll band Sandog. They became a popular Columbus Agora band in the 70’s.

The band drew large crowds and played shows with AC/DC and other popular bands of the time. The 80’s saw Terry playing guitar for popular regional bands until forming Terry Davidson & the Gears in 1983. In ‘86, the song “DWI” from the LP “Bangshift” saw regular rotation airplay on commercial radio for several months. Today, Terry’s love of the Blues is at the forefront of his music.

He has performed in shows with many of the world's greatest Blues and Rock & Roll artists...... Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Chuck Berry, Link Way, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds, to name just a few. He has released 5 albums with Terry Davidson & the Gears. Now his solo and duo shows are in demand.

He was chosen to play at the 2007 International Blues Challenge in Memphis with long time bandmate Bob “the Wrench” Hanners. Terry tours regularly around the U.S. 2009 saw the Gears playing 5 nights at the Broken Spoke in downtown Sturgis SD for bike week. Influences: Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy, The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughan. Read more on Last.fm.
