With members from France, Italy and The Netherlands, Templo Diez mixes alt-country, slow-core and darker pop influences in an intimate sound that has been compared to many bands including Sparklehorse and The Velvet Underground. They are known for their emotional live performances and have won over audiences in The Netherlands and beyond. Along the years, the band completed no less than five U.S. and four Canadian tours, as well as gigs in France, Spain and the U.K.

They performed at festivals such as SXSW, CMJ, In The City (UK), CMW and NXNE. In their home country, they played at major events such as Crossing Border (The Hague), Motel Mozaïque (Rotterdam), The Music in my Head (The Hague). Released in 2003, their début album Hoboken, garnered rave reviews, as did their sophomore effort, Winterset (2006), which showcased their progression towards a larger sound full of contrast and intensity, rooted in songs written by frontman Pascal Hallibert. Following the 2008 Crowheart EP, the last part of their album trilogy, entitled Merced (2009), showcased an ever-developing musical collective pledging allegiance to song dynamics, sonic architectures and above all, emotions and atmospheres. Another transitional EP (Freiheit) was released in 2010, followed by the group's fourth and fifth full-length albums: Greyhounds (2011) and Constellations (2015). Current Templo Diez line-up: Pascal Hallibert, Leejon Verhaeg, Paolo Panza, Roman Schipper, Miranda Visser and Hans Custers. Read more on Last.fm.
