Templeton's Zeal is a blues and jazz influenced modern rock trio from Akron, OH. Their music has been described as, "different, and original," with influences such as Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and the Red Hot Chili Peppers apparent in the band's sound and style. Although the band has only been together for one year, they have been successful in getting radio play on local and college radio shows, and have developed followings in Akron, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. This success can be accredited to the groups natural talent, songwriting ability, and years of experience as live musicians.

In the past year, Templeton's Zeal has played over seventy shows in five major cities, and in three states. With the release of their debut album in the late fall of 2006, and first tour in the summer of 2007, TZ will be spreading, "the zeal" even further to reach thousands more ears and hearts.
