Despite his career being young and in its infancy, he has become a YouTube sensation with many covers and renditions of his music being done by his many fans throughout the world. His song "Get To Know You" has been remade, remixed and covered as many times by his peers and fans as most other musical legends in the music industry, all together the videos have amassed over One Million views on Youtube. The song has also been featured on VH1’s ‘’What Chilli Wants’’ Season 2 a reality show of Chilli from the Legendary group ‘’ TLC’’, ‘’Get To Know You’’ was one of two songs selected on the show, the other one being ‘’Do Yuh Thang’’. Opening for multi-platinum selling artist “GINUWINE” as well as “JARED EVAN” of Zone4/Interscope Records and was on a two island Hawaii tour with Reggae Star Tarrus Riley.
He also had the honor of headlining a show which featured Reggae legend Glen Washington. TEKI has shared the stage with established Polynesian acts such as FIJI, Katchafire, Three Houses Down, Mana Poly All-Stars, Nesian NINE, Kontiki, Spawn Breezie and more. TEKI also has performed in front of hundreds even thousands of fans throughout the western United States (i.e. Headlining in Las Vegas(on the Las Vegas Strip @ The Monte Carlos), Hawaii, San Francisco, Dallas, Long Beach, Portland and Salt Lake City.
He has become a seasoned performer strengthening his showmanship and his ability to work, excite and move the crowd. TEKI is considered the next generation in island music. He is featured on a song with “CROOKED I” of Slaughterhouse who is currently signed to Rapper EMINEM’s Record Label, on a track for a hip hop artist known as “HOGG BOSS”, his debut album debuted at #39 on the Rnb/soul Itunes top 200 chart.
