I did 'Bad, Bad Leroy Brown', by Jim Croce.

I was mostly doing covers back then." He began writing his own songs while in his senior year of high school. Teddy has since been a two time finalist in the Telluride Troubadour songwriting competition, as well as the USA songwriting competition. His songs have also been placed in numerous network T.V. shows such as NBC's 'Meet My Folks' The WB's 'Everwood', 'Summerland' and 'Felicity', as well as ABC's Family Channel and NPR's 'Car Talk'. Teddy is currently working on a new song about the state of New Jersey where he lived for two years during high school titled, "You Smell Worse Than Elizabeth". Teddy mostly plays solo with just an acoustic guitar, although sometimes he performs with his band which he calls 'The Goldsteins'.

"I always say, nothing says Rock & Roll like Goldstein." Teddy has shared stages over the years with artists such as Marshall Crenshaw, Dan Bern, Todd Snider, Ellis Paul, Lucy Kaplansky and Steve Forbert. These days Teddy lives in Brooklyn, New York. In his spare time, he records his conversations with the telemarketers that interrupt his songwriting sessions (to take a listen check out the "multi-media" section of www.teddygoldstein.com).
