TAS 1000

TAS 1000 (2001-2005) was an experimental music collective based in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. John Rogers and Scott Howard were found still alive by members of the TAS 1000 Facebook page made by fans. A successor band was formed in July 2012, called TAS 2000 was formed by fans of the band, Scott Anders, Anders Johnson, Lewis Ling and Hayden Johnson. The band is a long-distance band, with two of the members from Minnesota, one from Florida, and one from England.

The first single was due for release on January 12, 2013 (the tenth anniversary of A Message for Marta), but later delayed and set to later January, early-February. One member of the band said 'If the album is released after January 12 2013, I have suggested that 'I've Been Delayed' should be placed on the album'. Members of the band claim the album will be called 'A Message to Marta' instead of 'A Message for Marta'. Read more on Last.fm.
