She also played in the Enghien Jazz Festival, Solidays and Muzik'elles. On 5th November 2007, T-ka became the 11th artist to crowd sourced a $50,000 recording budget on SellaBand.com.

Thanks to the support of 684 believers T-ka recorded her first album 'and maybe a tree will rise out of me' in California. Sylvia Massy (Prince, Skunk Anansie) produced the album and was accompanied by talented musicians such as Jeff Pevar (Ray Charles, Nash) on guitar; Stevie D (David Gilmour, Nash) on drums; Tibo Barbillon (Nouvelle Vague) on bass and Bill Holloman (Diana Ross, Nile Rodgers) on horns. The album was released on 14th July 2008 on SellaBand, iTunes, CDBaby, Amiestreet and Amazon.co.uk/de. The album is due for release in French stores on 27th October 2008. Read more on Last.fm.
