Slit My Wrists or Die Trying

Slit My Wrists or Die Trying is an emocore/pop-punk/punk rock band from Madison, Wisconsin formed in early 2006. They're noted for their lack of drum and bass. The band started at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Witte hall. Originally a one song project, Mike and Travis began recording when Cale walked into the room.

Three hours later, it had somehow turned it into a 5 song EP that become known as '50 Tylenol Wasn't Enough'. Though the band is now unofficially defunct, former members are still active with side projects in such side projects as Platyus PilotCommunique, Fraitandans Thize Dauthe, Fecal Postmortem Bifurcation, and Love Can't Save You Padme Only My New Powers Can. They have also released a noise rock album under the name Breaking Things To Fix Them. Prior to phasing out as a band, the group recorded several demos meant for the upcoming album 'Cut To Feel'. Whether or not the album will ever be released or not has yet to be revealed. Slit My Wrists is currently occupying the #1 spot on Emo Summer's myspace top 8.
