Slim (of 112)
Slim (of 112)
R&B music was just another way to express his talents especially at local talent shows and church events. Born and raised in Atlanta and living a very animated life, may have a lot to do with the reason why Slim is an 8 time ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) winner. “Many situations, mine or others are what inspire me to write, that’s how many of my CLASSICS are made!” There is no doubt that his “classics” have made it on the “Top 100” charts, Billboard Charts & have won many prestigious awards for himself & the artist albums he’s affiliated with. With the success that his group 112 has had in the past years, it is no different that his success as a Solo Artist will be the same. Currently Slim is working on his solo album, “Loves Crazy” which is anticipated to come out in 2008. There are many well known producers, rappers & singers that are very excited to work on his new project.
“A new fresh sound w/ a lot of swagger is what I’m on. I’ve always been a gentleman of R&B, a classy type guy who’s all about making the fans happy! Lately we have been getting off track on trying to romance the ladies…” says, Slim. There is NO question that Slim is a definitely a favorite with the ladies, but don’t worry, he has the streets on lock as well. Rappers such as UGK, Slim Thug, & long time friends 8Ball&MJG are just a few that don’t hesitate to lend a quick 16 bars for him.His new single “so fly” even features fellow ATL friend, Yung Joc.Slim has also stepped in to CEO status with launching his new label called, M3 Productions, INC.
This was very important to Slim, because he wanted to give others the oppurtunity to follow & accomplish their dreams as he was given the chance many years ago. The upcoming year has a lot in store for Slim and he couldn’t be more excited to start it off with a BANG!! Be on the look out ladies & gentlemen because 2008 is going to be a great year in the “music world” if Slim & M3 have anything to do with it! Read more on Last.fm.
