Within one week of the releaseing the record everything fell apart.

Nic Goodson died in a hotel room on November 25, 2006. After being discovered by a hotel maid, he was taken to the hospital where he was revived. This incident forced Goodson to return to his homestate of Texas to recover....he had suffered massive nerve damage to his right leg and was told that he may never walk again. While in TX, Goodson recovered slowly....after a few months he had even taught himself to walk again.

Goodson made several treks thru Texas during his recovery visiting honky tonks, juke joints, and SXSW. On March 22, 2007 Nic Goodson played his first show in Athens, Ga. This marked the next phase in Sleepy Horses' story....Nic added his good friends Justin Gregg (bass, vocals) and Dave Forker (drums, vocals) to the band. This trio may very well be the best incarnation of Sleepy Horses yet.....cose friends, a fesh start, new songs, and a second chance at life for Nic Goodson......
