Siegelhead started in late 2004 following the meeting of its two members, Thomas Mugler and Avi Pitchon, in a jam session in the Neukoln district of Berlin. Agreeing on the importance of Van Halen's 'Jump' in the history of pop, they exchanged phone numbers and soon embarked on their quest to 'take electroclash to its extreme logical conclusion'. Siegelhead differs from other tongue-in-cheek, ironic acts because the root of their work is based on a genuine love for the beautiful strangeness of pop's outer limits. Read more on Last.fm.
