Si Baldwin

Born in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, Si Baldwin has been producing trance since 2011. His sound is that of classic Ibiza trance, a sound that you can get lost to, a sound that takes you back to when you fell in love with trance but with a modern twist, a sound that you could dance to in the club or chill out on the beach to. His songs contain a mix of emotional “hands in the air” melodies with a chilled out vibe blended with ear pleasing sounds, phat basslines and thumping drums. Influenced by artists ranging from electronic artists such as Paul Van Dyk, ATB and Chicane to hip-hop producers such as Dr.

Dre, DJ Premier and J.Dilla, Si has a wide musical taste and this is reflected in his compositions. His debut album “From the Desert to the Dancefloor” was produced entirely on his down time whilst serving in the British Armed Forces in Afghanistan and reflects Si’s production style with the mixture of emotions of being away from loved ones whilst serving your country in a foreign land. It was mixed and mastered in the UK and includes future hits such as “Here Comes The Sun” and “Rectify”. Profits from the sale of the album are being donated to Help For Heroes. Read more on Last.fm.
