He debuted with WANDS as former singer (Hiroshi Shibasaki was the guitarist and Kosuke Oshima the keyboardist) with the single "Sabishisa wa aki no iro" in 1991. On 1993 the keyboardist Kosuke Oshima left and Hiroshi Shibasaki's friend Shinya Kimura took his place and the WANDS PERIOD II starts. Their music become rockish and their popularity was rising, however on 1996 with the single "WORST CRIME ABOUT A ROCKSTAR WHO WAS A SWINDLER" both Show Wesugi and Hiroshi Shibasaki left the band because their manager wanted WANDS to make pop music again. The WANDS PERIOD III starts with a new lead singer, Jiro Waku, and a new guitarist, Issei Sugimoto. Their music was exactly as Wesugi wanted, they didnt sing pop but rock because when Wesugi and Shibasaki left he found out that Wands' fans wanted rock music more, however the didnt last more than 2 years because they lost many fans that followed Wesugi and his new debut. Wands disbanded in 1999 with the first studio album of the WANDS PERIOD III, Awake. The latest Best was released on 2002 and the name is BEST OF WANDS AT THE BEING STUDIO, but before WANDS PERIOD III another 2 bests comed out, WANDS HISTORICAL BEST + 6 and BEST OF WANDS HISTORY (and also the only dvd WANDS ever releases, BEST OF WANDS HISTORY DVD). In the end of the 1997 Wesugi and Shibasaki formed al.ni.co, a band with a grunge like style, and that disappointed a lot of fans who wanted a sound more rockish than grunge. al.ni.co, like WANDS PERIOD III, made only 3 singles and an album and stayed inactive for few years and then disbanded on 2001.

The same year Wesugi announced his solo career and on 2002 his official fanclub "Jellyfish Heights" born. His first Mini album "L.O.G" was released on 2004.
