She then released her first single, Oulli Oulli, a remake of Anna Vissi's To Poly Poly. Though her debut album, Ala Eih, was received quite well in Egypt, it wasn't until Shahinaz released her second album that she achieved true success. Shahinaz's 2005 album, Aheb A'ishlak, marked the start of her contract with Saudi label Rotana. The title song was wildly successful, and the singles that followed, Kaman Kaman and Malnash Makan, were equally popular. In 2008, Kaman Kaman was translated into Turkish by Günce Koral, and released as Siyah, Shahinaz's 2006 album was released amidst much fanfare, and the haunting video that was released for the first single, Ensani, showed her in a new light.
