Debut EP from Puerto Rico's Electronic/Metal/Experimental music freak Johnny Rodriguez better known as The Saint Of The Echo. Johnny started as a full time metalhead from the 80's, listening to bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Overkill and King's X. Then the 90's came and he discovered bands like Rage Against The Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, The Melvins, Faith No More, Pantera and Primus. Johnny confesses that he hated electronic and Industrial music when bands like Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Aphex Twin and Ministry appeared on his music radar.

The new millenium came and still Johnny wasn't interested in electronic music. Until a guy from England known in the music world as "Squarepusher" fell into Johnny's ears and blew his mind away with his complex and elaborated compositions using his bass guitar taking the main role in his songs. Johnny, being a bass player himself, automatically got hooked into Squarepusher's music and motivated him to discover more of this "electronic stuff " he hated so much in the past. So he gave bands like Aphex Twin and Ministry a second chance to blend into his musical pallette giving him the opportunity to expand his musical knowledge, and "push" no pun intended, the envelope a little bit more.

Little did Johnny knew, encouraged by his best friend and fellow bass player JL ,started to imprint his musical ideas into a music creating software on his computer. Johnny found out the sky was the limit with this computer software and realizes how he could take all of his musical influences(including metal) and put him into an electronic song. Now his first musical baby called "Planet Made Reverb" is born and ready join the electronic and digital realm. Check out songs like "Celestial Chaos","My 2600" where you can listen to his "Squarepusher" influence.

"911 Alien Disturbance Call " where you can listen to his "Metal" side, and a song called "Spirit Of The Great Grey Wolf", where The Saint shows some of his spiritual side. Read more on Last.fm.
